Mr Simon Woodruff, Consultant Ophthalmic & Oculoplastic Surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust trained in London teaching hospital. This includes four years subspecialty training as a fellow in oculoplastic, lacrimal & orbital surgery with two years at Moorfields Eye Hospital & a further two years at The Western Eye Hospital, London.
He covers all general ophthalmology with special interests in small incision cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery including ptosis, entropion/ectropion, eyelid reconstruction following tumour excision, the surgical rehabilitation of thyroid eye disease and tear duct or lacrimal surgery (including by an endoscopic approach). Simon also has a keen interest in cosmetic eyelid and facial surgery and offer non-surgical facial treatments such as Botox and fillers. Also offering lower lid cosmetic surgery via a transconjunctival internal approach avoiding any external scarring with a particular special interest and experience in re-do eye surgery following unsatisfactory results elsewhere.
