Mr Danny Morrison is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and at the Evelina Children’s Hospital, London. He was appointed in 2005. Mr Morrison trained in Sheffield, Brighton, Leicester, Edinburgh and London.

He was a senior specialist registrar at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, where he also undertook advanced training as a Fellow in ophthalmic plastic surgery. This was followed by a fellowship in paediatric ophthalmology at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital, London.
Mr Morrison has particular expertise in paediatric ophthalmology, children’s and adult squints (strabismus), and ophthalmic plastic surgery including ptosis, eyelid lumps and congenital orbital pathology. The paediatric ophthalmology includes assessment for glasses, treatment of amblyopia, vision problems in small babies and children, retinal diseases, as well as common problems such as blocked tear ducts and allergic eye disease.
He is also trained in the assessment of all aspects of general ophthalmology, including cataracts and glaucoma.
